The Fabulous Fuhry of an Ordinary Girl

6 Days ’til Christmas – Hey Hey Mary Kay

Today’s giveaway is sponsored by: Ryan  Hutchison and Me

I’m not a huge fan of makeup, and I don’t really go out of my way to but it. I stick to the essentials. For me, that is definitely not lip color. I used to drive the Miss Altus ladies crazy *cough cough* Casey Rogers *cough cough* because I never seemed to have enough lipstick on. Honestly, she might fall over dead if she read what I’m about to write! 🙂

If I decided to wear lip color of any kind, it was going to be MAC. I’m a MAC girl through and through. My tried and true tube of Viva Glam number something began to run low and I thought, why not try something new? My friend Ryan is a Mary Kay Consultant and I got a sample of Pink Passion right before my 3-Day Walk. I loved it, and it was perfect for all of the pink I was going to be wearing in my near future. I ordered a tube and threw in a make-up remover.

Guys, I loved the lipstick even more in the tube than I did as a sample. That never happens! It glides on smooth, it’s not sticky AT ALL, and the color stays around for a while. Definitely a MAC competitor. I’ll definitely still stock my MAC lipstick, but it’s nice to know there’s another go to brand out there. It’s all I’ve been wearing since early November! And don’t even get me started on the make up remover! I’m always trying new makeup removers because I am SO OILY and most removers make me feel like my face is covered in slime. I’ve never found one that I just REALLY liked, until now. Not only does it do a great job of actually removing full eye makeup (which is the true test of any remover), but my skin feels fresh after I use it, not like I need to strip it with paint thinner!

Ahh, a young lady after my own heart, lipstick is all I wear as makeup. All my life I had oily skin, which, by the way helps a lot with holding off wrinkles as we age! (The only good thing I ever found with oily skin! )

I on the other hand would not leave the house without makeup on! Pretty scary without it lol. The one item I never wear is lipstick I feel like a clown lol so if I had a chance on a lipstick pass it on as I would never use it! Have a great weekend!

I absolutely need more lipstick. I don’t wear it often so I am very limited in choices.
